1 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. unbleached flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
2 T. wheat germ
1 t. soda
1/2 t. salt
1 c. peanuts
1 c. chocolate chips
Beat together shortening and peanut butter.
Then add sugars.
Next add eggs.
Mix together and add 5 dry ingredients.
Add peanuts and chocolate chips last.
Drop by rounded teaspoonful.
For best results, bake on nonstick cookie sheet at 325 until done: about 10-12 minutes.
This is Bob’s personal recipe that he developed in the ‘70’s. Randy Wolfe even created a Baker Bob logo for Bob when he considered going into the cookie business full time. Luckily for Cynthia, he was available in the ‘80’s for going into the lumber business full time!
